Ronda

This mountain top city in the heart of Andalucía straddles the dramatic El Tajo Gorge, which is bridged by the picturesque Puente Nuevo stone bridge. The bridge joins the 18th Century New Town on one side, with the Old Town which dates from 15th Century Moorish rule on the other. The compact city is very walkable, and boasts a wealth of history. The Palacio de Mondragon is just one of the city’s treasures whilst a visit to Ronda’s famous Bullring is an absolute must! Reputed to be the home of Bullfighting it holds a very special place in Spanish Culture.
